Applying for a nursing job?

Assuming this semester's finals went well, I will be graduating with a BSN in May. Any input on what I should look for in a job or advice on applying for a job?

What field appealed to you during your clinicals? Med-surg is always a good choice for beginning because you have plenty of opportunities to develop a variety of skills. It is true, if you don't use your skills, you will lose them.
During the interview phase, remember that the interviewer is looking for a nurse that is a patient advocate and that will put patient safety first. Working as a team player is also a sought after quality. Don't forget that as an RN you will bring leadership skills with you, so be able to discuss that if necessary.
