What will happen in red blood cell during chronic renal failure?

Pls. answers my qusetion.....just for my nursing subject cause Im a BSN student need the answer to day. much as possible to day or tommorow

This is a basic anatomy and physiology question. I'm very concerned that you are in a BSN program and do not know this/cannot easily find this answer on your own!

Chronic renal failure causes decreased erythropoietin and hematuria.

A patient with chronic kidney failure usually exhibits decrease in RBC count. Sometimes it is categorized as anemia. The cause is secondary to involvement of the hormone erythropoietin which is secreted by the kidney. In its absence or hypofunction will lead to decrease stimulation of the erythropoises in the bone marrow thus anemia is the end result....

Red blood cells are called as erythrocytes. The production of red blood cells is called as erythropoiesis. It takes place in the bone marrow. In the kidneys, there is a macula densa region called as the JGA OR THE juxtaglomerular apparatus. It secretes erythropoietin. This EPO stimulates the bone marrow to produce red blood cells. Once there is kidney failure, the JGA is impaired and is unable to stimulate the bone marrow. So there is decreased production of red blood cells, leading to anemia
