Perioperative nursing info wanted?

Anyone got anything besides the Mayo clinic page I can get in a google search? I'm looking for real info from medical workers about the different roles and responsibilities of periop nurses. I'm a BSN student trying to pick a specialty. I've got plans to shadow in the OR environment, but I wanted to find out as much as possible ahead of time.
