Becoming A Nurse In Toronto?

I will recieve my BSN at the start of next year and am considering moving to Toronto after I graduate. Does anyone know if I will be able to go there through imgration right away or do I have to work here first? I am already a nurse assistant where I live until I graduate. I visited the canadian imigration website but alot of it is sort of confusing.

Also does anyone know about how much a nurse in the Toronto area makes a year? I have family who lives there and I know it's one of the most expensive cities so I just hope I will make enough to actually live there.

I'm new to this so I didnt really know where to put this question. Sorry

The best thing for you to do is contact the CNO (College of Nurses Ontario) www.cno.ca
and they can probably help you with some of your answers.

It depends also where you studied nursing, you may need to write the RN exam here.

Starting salary is $23/hr up to $35/hr Canadian, plus shift differentials.

contact a nursing registry that has traveling nursing contracts--they can give the info you need

Free health care. Doctors don't even make that much. They come to the U.S. where they can get paid and earn a doctors wage.
