Doctors, Women or nurses PLEASE answer?!?!?!?!!?

well this is kinda embaressing but here goes....

lately, ive got this realy strong itching and burning sensation in my vagina. i think it might be a yeast infection, but im not sure since ive never had one. Ive been in a relationship for 4 years, so i know STDs are out of the answer.

But what should i do and what could it be?! It itches SOOO bad and i feel so uncomfortable! =[
I know i should visit a GYNO, but i can't until Monday!

PLEASE HELP!!

Get some Vagisil or anti itch cream until you can get to your doc's.

It sounds like a yeast infection. Go to the drugstore and get some cream. The three or seven day treatments work best for me. Good luck.

its a yest infection go and get some over the counter medicine.. my first one i got over in a day but my recent one it took 2 to 3 days... but it feels better when you get medicine to take care of it... just put the cream or the ovum or what ever you get in before you go to bed and put a pad on so it doesnt get on your panties.. if the problem persists go to the gyno... make an appointment anyways just in case..

You can buy mycostatin at any store that has medications. It is an over the counter medication and will take a few days to start taking all your symptoms away. Also start eating yogurt. It contains a product that helps with yeast.

Probably is a yeast infection. You can try eating lots of yogurt as the bacteria in that will add good bacteria to your system. You can also insert yogurt into your vagina. It sounds gross, but will directly add bacteria to the trouble spot. Use only plain yogurt if going vaginally. This will do well, but you may still want to see the doc on Monday.

Here's a quick home remedy.....soak a rag with some vinager and rub down there with it. It will burn but it will kill the infection. Also eat yogurt to keep away yeast enfections.

Why wait? go to the nearest hospital emergency room and they will tell you for sure, and fix you up with any needed medication. This very well could be, as others have said, a yeast infection. Don't wait.

Probably a yeast infection! Go get some OTC treatment and you'll feel alot better! Until then, you're gonna keep on burnin!

Well it does sound like a yeast infection. Go to your nearest drug store and get an over the counter medication (suppositories are a lot easier than creams), dont scratch you'll make it worst and yes see your gyn on Monday.

It does sound like a yeast infection, and seeing it is your first one, go see the Gyno...

Good luck!!

Probably a yeast infection

hey there i have been sufering from exactly the same thing, sounds like a yeast infecion to me, you should go to the dr's they will give you something to clear up the itch and some antibiotics

You may indeed have a yeast infection. Read more about your symptoms at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/vaginit...

STDs are not out of the answer unless you are 100% sure your partner has been monogamous. Even then, you cannot be positive the partner did not, 4 years ago, bring an STD into the relationship from a previous partner.

If your itching is accompanied by the typical cottage-cheese discharge and if the discharge is not frothy, green, or smelly, you probably do have a yeast infection. There are many effective over-the-counter medications to treat this. (You're fortunate; for many years a vaginal yeast infection required a physician visit!)

I am assuming your partner is male; be aware that he can contract this infection from you. Read about it at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/male-ye... If it is a yeast infection, you must both be treated and must abstain until you're both cured.
