( mobic ) so now im taking that started lastnight . today i felt as though my upper back and neck had went numb ive been having these feeling so far on and off today . i was wondering what it might possabley be . normally i can stand pain but this is just messed up ! i know mobic is for arthritius. its an anit-imflamm. could my lungs be imflammed from the copd?. i mean with these symptoms i gave what best describes it ? if u need any further info , please email me and ill email you back with info ! thank you .........

i did tell my nurse and they prescribed me mobic , if u cant answer my question pls dont bother posting anything , thank you !

How long were you on the prednisone and how high of a dose? I doubt if the problem is related to prednisone, it has very far reaching affects-- from stomach ulcers to diabetes -- but i have never heard of anything like this.
Do you have any other health problems? Are you on another medications?
Were you having very hard coughing spasms before he started you on spiriva and prednisone?
Truly it does not sound related to anything with your breathing,
do you have problems with gall bladder?
Does the pain seem to occur after you have eaten, esp. after a particularly heavy or fatty meal?
I'm sorry i have to answer question with a question, but really is not enough to go on to even give a good guess. Your family dr. should be your first source of information. Dr cannot diagnose well without information only you have: keep a diary of the symptoms:when they occur what are you doing, what were you doing in the hours before pain began. You need to pay attention to the quality of the pain, what relieves it, what makes it worse. To just give a prescription without trying to find the cause is not what you should be settling for. You need to ask questions.

I don't think a real Dr or nurse would be on Yahoo answers

you need to see your doctor for further assessment if your problem persist and wont go away even with meds. Take note of the signs and symptoms you re experiencing and tell the doctor exactly what you experience so they could take an appropriate immediate action
