Doctors and Nurses, this one is for you! Please??

I had a UTI a couple of weeks ago. Since it has cleared on its own. I am assuming this because it no longer burns when I pee. However, when I need to urinate I have to push hard.. it seems like it is getting a little harder every day. WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS? And what can I do besides go to a doctor to cure this??

(No smart remarks- this is a health issue not an open opinion issue)

I'm no doctor or nurse, but I'd say it's swelling in the urethra. Maybe you're not quite over the UTI. Go to the doctor and ask. Sometimes you just have to do that, even though mine freely admits that he makes a living on educated guesses.

Wrong section = P

yes wrong section but these thing rarely get better on their own. go see your doctor and get some anti biotics

This certainly works for women who have had babies and run into your problem. (Don't be [put off by the mention of incontinence -- it works both ways!) http://www.augs.org/custom/kb/answer.cfm... Give it a try.
Meanwhile, try posting this on perhaps the health page.

It sounds like you still have an infection. Try drinking 100% cranberry juice and taking vitamin C. If your symptoms are still going on after 10-14 days go to your doctor.

if you have had a noticeable change, then i would definitely go back to the doctor. sometimes a 'bladder stone' may cause problems - but i'm not saying that this is what is wrong with you. go back for a check up.
