Genital warts/hpv or herpes? |
About one month ago, for three days in a row, just the first time I would pee in the morning, it burned. Now, I have noticed about 5 small bumps way inside my vagina. There was one bump that was slightly bigger than the rest but today it is much bigger than the rest. They do not hurt at all. They are not crusty. They are slightly raised and I can see something a little bit when I look in the mirror but they are not red, they are mostly skin color with a tiny greyish tint. I did call the doctor 2x yesterday and the nurse told me she'd talk to the doctor and call me back asap but never did. Help...is the doctor not calling me back because this is no big deal or should I go see a different doc? I would go see another doc. This is not something to wait on. Just make an appt. tell them you think you have an std. The problem with either of the two diseases is they are not curable and you do not want them to spread so you need to get on the correct meds. With genital wart/hpv it puts an individual at greater risk for cervical cancer. I am not trying to scare you but knowledge is the best prevention. Avoid intercourse, douching or tampons until you see a physician. They will perform a pelvic, take swabs, run blood work and probably screen for other Stds and HIV. Stay Safe. Most likely HPV but could be a couple of other things as well (not herpes and probably not syphilis though). You'll do fine with treatment. Your doctor isn't calling you back because he has better things to do. If/when you do manage to talk to him he'll tell you to come see him in clinic, so just skip the middle step and make an appointment. sounds like herpes look @ web md & see a doctor. please dont have any sex till you get diagnosed. if they don't call u back with in the time they say try calling them back once more and if they don't call after that then call them. or seeing that u have called them twice i would go and see a different doctor. if u had herpes you would be in some kind of pain and not only when u pee as well as itching. most likely hpv but could also be in grown hairs or razer burn if u shave. i would go to the doctor or gyno to be sure. if it is hard in the center and you shave it could just be a in grow hair i though i had herpes went to the doctor and found out because i had shave 3 weeks before i got in grow hairs and the sometimes are gray in the center were the hair is to fix this you can apply hot water for 10 minute every couple hours and see if they rise to the surfice if they dont go to a doctor |
