Have been diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum on my scrotum! i am 52, sexually active pipe bomb what kin i do

i have had this diagnosed by the public health nurse, she sed she saw small dimples in the center of these tiny red bumps. They DO itch contrary to what some sources say about mollluscum. they are smooth NOT cauliflower like regular planters warts. thought they might be scabies but the dr that looked at them sez he is definite they are NOT scabies. i have used compound w for 4 days once every 24 hours even though it sez right on the tube to not use compound w on genital warts. because the national institute for halth site sez that common wart treaments SOMeTIMES works on molluscum. compound w burns a bit when i first apply it. this has been going on for about 8 to 10 weeks. it is better than when i first noticed it , but there are 4 little bumps that are persistant. i ain't been gitting eny due to this situation. so am eager to clear this up. so is she. make us happy, please, enybody?

I was diagnosed with this back in HS. The Dr. said to either leave it alone and the bumbs will go away or have them burned away. I left it alone and they went away without return.

I used to work in a clinic and we took care of these all the time. You have to have them "burned" off with a special acid that only your doctor has. This takes care of the molluscum, but you still have the virus that caused them in the first place. These are an STD and you find them where skin touches skin. Sometimes you will have them on both inner legs where your own skin touches. You need to see your doctor for this. Stop using the CW.

well obviously u don't need us as u won't listen to ur dr. if u don't like what they say, get a 2nd opinion. u had better keep it to urself until u know exactly what u r dealing with .
