C Section pain 4 weeks after surgery?

I had a c section about 4 and 1/2 weeks ago. This was my second one. after about 3 weeks i was fine, no more pain, but about a week ago i started having severe pain in the right side of my incision. it is this burning pain anytime i move. if i am sitting still i am fine but when i move i am in soooo much pain. The nurse told me it sounds like i pulled my muscle. Has anyone else ever experianced this?? I dont want this pain the rest of my life!

If you are having severe pain, make an appointment with your doc and check it out to make sure it is nothing serious. Can you recall if you did something that could have caused a pulled muscle? Even so, it shouldn't give you sooooo much pain...

I had stinging pain sometimes when I moved after my c-section - but that was just adhesions being broken. For adhesions the best thing is to keep moving but not overdo it, and it goes away after about a year (but less and less pains over that time). But not burning pain!

It does sound like a pulled muscle, but if you're concerned, go see your doctor. With a healing surgery incision, it's sometimes better to be more cautious than not.

wow its been only 3weeks for me so far and whenever i seem to get up from bed or the couch or a chair i get the same similar feeling its like a burning stinging feeling all i can really say is take those pain meds also another thing i am experiencing is still some quite numbing still it feels way wierd, wish the best of luck to your healing i see my doc tomorrow.
