Have you ever heard of eye allergies like this?

For the past 2 months, I have woken up with seriuosly swollen eyes. Some days are worse than others. Along with them being swollen, they are red, dry and itchy. I also have dry itchy red spots on my face, but even worse spots on my neck. My bottom lip has also become raw and it feels like it was burned. My diet has not changed and neither have the products I have been using. Well, I changed my mascara to a hypoallergenic brand and tried using different products, thinking that might be the problem, but it hasn't made a difference. I tried taking allergy medication, but it makes me too tired and it didn't seem to be helping. My mother in-law was a nurse and said she has never seen anything like this. This may sound silly, but I have lived in multiple states and the only 2 states I have had problems in have been states that have all man made lakes. Could I be allergic to these states?

Let me rephrase that last part- Not allergic to the state, but specific allergens in the states?

I'm a nurse. Something is going on. I think you should see a doctor. It could be from food allergies to allergens in the air. I would get allergy testing. Take care. By the way, is OTC allergy medicine helping you? If not it's not allergies but something else.

Allergic to a state? Never heard of that before....I'd make an appointment with a doctor to find out what is going on.....
