Yeast infection? |
I was recently (a month ago) burned on my ankel. Its a second degree burn and Im having to take a lot of pills because of it. Since taking the pills, such as anti-biotics, anti-histamenes, loratabs and IBprofin, I havnt been sexual aroused. I also itch a lot in my nether area. The nurse says I have a yeast infection and gave me a pill but its been a week and its still itching and burning. what do I do? sometimes the pill they give you for yeast infections isn't a high enough dose. you may need to go back to the doctors and get some more. in any case, i would go back to the doctors just to check it out. go to the doc Get some Gynelotramin or Clotrimazole and use a couple of times daily. And EAT (do not douche with) yogurt. You can go to the grocery/drug store and get yeast infection medicine. They even have creams you can use for the itching. Yes it may be a side effect. Did the nurse tell you what NOT to do when you have a yeast infection? If you are douching or not washing properly, or wearing tight pants (just to name a few) that can prolong the symptoms. Ask doc if you may be doing something wrong and what other alternatives she can recommend. If she acts like she doesn't care, get another doc. I know how intimidating this is for you and there are ways to cure it. Good luck. If u r still taking all of the pills then u r bound to still ahve a yeast infection. While taking the meds you should try to eact yogurt and drink cranberry juice. Its an old remedy that helps. |
