This is a breastfeeding question please answer? |
I am nursing my second baby (old pro right?) she is almost 10 months old but suddenly I have a burning sensation in my right breast....from areola to my arm on the outer partit is not terrible just uncomfortable....baby is teething but not bitting seems to be nursing harder too...I am drinking water often supply is down a little ....don't know what else to say ouchy!!! please tell me what should I do? That almost sounds like how I felt when I started to get mastitis. Keep an eye on it! I would do 2 things..I would call a lactation consultant and see what she says...and 2, I would try pumping to see if the sensation goes away or is something on the inside (and not how the baby is nursing). God Luck and GOOD for you nursing your baby (I nursed my first one for the first full year). is it constant? or just when she nurses? I would either call my ob/gyn or a breastfeeding consultant and ask. |
