Sunburn easier when pregnant?

I went to the pool today for a couple of hours. I've been doing this every saturday for the whole summer, and always lather up with sunscreen. Didn't burn once all summer, until today. I am supposed to test for pregnancy after this coming Monday, and i couldn't help but wonder if this could be a sign of the pregnancy hormone in my body, maybe changing my skin sensitivity. My boobs are sore, but that is the only other symptom i have. I took a test when i got back from the pool and it was negative, but i am only 12 days past ovulation, and my sister who is a nurse told me its too soon. Has anyone noticed burning easier?

I'm not going to say you are or are not.

But one thing is for sure, my skin definitely became more sensitive and tender during pregnancy.
