Maternity Leave?

I have and used to be treated for IBS & Acid Reflux.

Now, I'm two months pregnant, I'm eduring so many pregnancy symthoms. Head rushes, blacking out, feeling consistantly out of breath, fatigue, sometimes to dizzy to drive or even be a passanger in a vehichle, persistant diarreah and heart burn.

I've missed two days of work, with Nurse Practioners note, excusing my from work. But my Nurse tells me these are normal complications, which is possibly true. But I cant get to work like this or work like this.

My question is, since I feel this horrible. Why am I still allowed to work in a stressful, fast paced and full of pressure envirmonment.

What are my options, rights, what do I do?

Are you married/significant oter in your life? Does he work? If you can, please consider quitting your job, if possible till your child is three yrs. old. Maternity leave is only six weeks-usually unpaid. And I can tell you from experience, at six weeks of age, you look at that little one's face, and realize it isn't long enough-and stay home longer. If youhave to work, is there a way you could possibly get a dr's note that can excuse you from work for ahwile longer? I wish you the best. Take care.

Why not quit work and let your husband's job pay the bills?
