Why weren't the witch hunters arrested? Did Alyssa die after she was burned? Did the blinded nurse die? By the way,will you call my ex and tell him what a jerk he is (6784270626)? Is the town still haunted? Did Alyssa kill the janitor? The movie was too unclear.

The religious fanatics tried to kill the little girl because they think they should punish the sin, not the sinner. The unmarried mom who gave her to the church was her real mom. When they tried to kill her the first time, it went wrong and the entire church died in the fire, but they didn't know it. The little girl who was burned was filled with so much rage and evilness that she split into two beings. The good form and the Bad form. The little girl running around in silent hill (aka the reaper) was the bad form and the one that was adopted was good. The adopted mom and cop died when the wrecked their cars. And neither of them know they are in purgatory. That's why it is cut off from the world and all foggy when they leave and is never foggy for Sean Bean when he leaves. The janitor did rape the little girl and that's why he is all crazy looking in purgatory, because the evil side of her did that to him in purgatory. I just think that the Japanese are crazy if they can think up stuff like that! Oh yeah, and they needed to lure the adopted mom into the town so she could have her revenge because she was the only way that she could bring in the evil side of Alyssa into the church since their "faith" would prevent her evilness from entering.

Her real mom was the outcast woman who didnt go into the church. The blinded nurse didnt die, but was held in the purgatory like everyone else. The janitor did get killed, but he comes to live in the altered silent hill. She was in the hospital the entire time.
