Skin burn (motorcycle accident)?

I do not the proper terms to explain it. But its more than a scrape, whe whole area of my right elbow is skinless. It felt like a burn.. or real bad rush... uh, i donnow how to explain it.
I cleaned it and stuff. i had first medical aid at the time.
Now. it has been more than 24 hours, and it steel bleeds and hurts like hell... what kinda over-the-counter medicine can i use to heal it up quicker? I mean some kind of lotion or... i dunnow...
Any med students, nurses, MD.. need some advice.

same thing happened to me on a dirt bike the tire fell on to my ankle and kept spinning till the skin got burnt...It didnt look bad when i first got it but it got worse after a few days, i tired using neosporin but after 3 days i had to go to the hospilate b/c i got infected, so clean it out good with some peroxide, and then put a bandage on it with neosproine, make sure the bandage is not like somthing thats going to stick to the scab and rip it offf.
