Was McCain singled out for special treatment when he was captured by the North Vietnamese? |
Vietnamese officials and even other POWs have said that McCain was treated as a guest of honor by the North Vietnamese and not as a POW shortly after his capture. When they learned he was the son of an American admiral, they wanted to keep him as a healthy bargaining chip for use in negotiations. He was given special quarters, looked after by a nurse, and did not stay in the camps that the other POWs were kept in. Have the Democrats actually become so desperate that you have to make up crap like this? Your party is dead. Let it die and move on. Your post is pure bull----. No, you know he has no teeth, they were broken and rotted when he came back, how's that special treatment? Pure BS. They wanted to let him go early as a propaganda ploy since others had been there longer and he told them to go F themselves and they beat the crap out of him. Yea that is special treatment genius. Sorry, but that aint gonna fly. If that is how dems are going to try to discredit him in Novemeber, it is going to backfire big time. Yes. Apparently McCain signed some anti-American statement and made radio broadcasts for the communists in order to get special treatment at a Vietnamese hospital. He was OFFERED special treatment and his reply was John McCain had his arms broken during captivity. Many other POWs were brutally treated inside Vietnamese camps. You do an excellent job, at distorting the facts. You could have a promising future with the New York Times. No, he was offered release because he was the son of an admiral, but he elected to stay with his unit for 5 more years of torture. I suppose that is akin to Obama staying with his church for 20, and Hillary staying with Bill after Monica. Right? so its been said......! |
