VA Hospital Indianapolis ARRRGGGG!!!?

THE most rude people i have EVER dealt with. UNBELIEVABLE. i feel like i'm staking to a drill srgt in boot camp everytime i call for my dad.
they can't get appointments straight and they shuffle old vets (my father) around like herds of cattle so uncaring.
i cannot believe the turmoil we've experienced and EVERYTIME we go up there its a 7 hour day. back/forth 'go here' and when we get there 'why are you here, we don't have you scheduled' so go here... go there, why are you here? oh, that appointment was cancelled by the nurse..
no paper work, no calls, they can't get his last named spelled correctly in the computer. and way too much more to bore you with.
i'm about to pull every hair of my head out 1 by 1.
if my father had to deal with this alone he would give up and not go. is that what they want????? he is due. he fought for our country and he is DUE!

anyone else experience rude, uncaring, 'cant do the job right' people at the VA?????????

My exhusband was at the VA a lot. They were awful. The only positive experience we ever had was at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. I am so sorry you and your father are having to go through this.

I use the VA Healthcare system and yes within the past few years the system has gone down hill. Without taking up pages they have even changed my appointments and I found out about the change whem I arrived. Especially when the changed the appointment to the day before and I recieved the notice after I went for my scheduled appiontment. Nough said.
