When you look back on your life when you're old...?

will you regret spending time on myspace, facebook, etc. like right now i get happy if i log on and have a cute pic comment for me or whatever. but i'm worried that someday when i'm sitting a nursing home looking back on all my memories, i'll wonder why i spent any time on the computer. i mean, i don't spend that much time on the computer, but if i'm bored it can be for a few hours once in a while. and i definitely do already have a TON of amazing memories, and i'm pretty young. i don't really want to delete my myspace, cause that's how i stay in touch with friends from camps and stuff, but what do you think? if you're older, do you regret spending time doing something silly when you could've been doing something important? (not sure what..)
i'm really not home too often, so when i am home, i do things like scrapbook/phone/exercise, etc. then i check myspace, but can you suggest something you can think of that i could do to not be on myspace?

ozzychik or whatever.. i only have my real friends as myspace friends.. but thanks anyway! and i'm pretty much always with my friends. what i mean is like at 9 pm on school nights when i have nothing else to do. can you give me some ideas of important things i can do that will help society? i want to make a difference in the world.

If spending time on line ISN'T keeping you from spending time with a human (you want to be with) then I don't see any problems with it. Don't let it become a substitute. Coming from an "older" person, the only thing I don't like about the time I spend on line is the fact that I could be reading. Regret? No.

As someone you might term as "old", I might suggest karting. If you're not old enough yet to have a driver's license, its a great way not only to have fun on a racetrack, but also learn about car control. You might even get hooked, and advance to other forms of racing.

going shopping or the movies would be a start..with real..friends, not the virtual kind..........some of those virtual friends might even become real if you invite them along with you....painting, the beach, sports and the gym...good books to read, photography.....soooooooo many things to do...my space is a good way of keeping up and in touch and I guess it could be fun too, but the real world is where memories come from and the above is a start to making them....

Find other sites like bebo or just surfing the net. The first step is to delete your myspace account and no that is not the last step :P Go on msn as that always takes up time well it does for me !

As an old man who is sitting in front of his computer waiting for spring I can tell you a few minutes now and then are not going to hurt.

well.. i have nothing to add ... but ur words some how describes me .. i used to have alot of virtual friends..i was thinking like u ..that i should go for the real life .. any ways my life took me away from these stuff...but what i can say now.. is that am not that much better !

maybe it was complementary to real life and not part of it !
