Is my girlfriend pregnant? PLEASE HELP?

My girlfriend and I had unprotected sex last Friday, the 13th, and she told me today that she has had cramps all week and she can't reat very much BUT, she said she bled on Saturday and Sunday (I think she started her period) but she said she always bleeds more on her period than two days. I called my mom and asked because she is an nurse and she said she wasn't pregnant if she bled after so I called my girlfriend and told her but she said she knows someone that had regular periods for 3 months, then the 4th month she didn't have her period so she went to the doctor's and he said she has been pregnant for 4 months so far. So... I know we shouldn't have had unprotected sex so please don't come in here telling me what I already know, but please tell me what you guys think. Is she pregnant or just having weird feelings inside or something? I ship out for the Marines boto camp next week and I won't be able to talk to her for four months or ask what is up so please let me know what you thin

Probably not...girls periods change all of the time. Having sex is just one of the many things that can cause her period to be abnormal. Just about anything can change a girls period...diet/excercise, different schedule, other men and/or women around them. Don't worry...it is too soon to tell anyways, but probably not.

dude, just go to doctors before you leave to check up on her. and if she is pregnant, congrats.

She may very well be. The marine corps will most certainly allow her to contact you if she is pregnant. You may not be able to "chat" but you will know.

Tip- As a girl, I have seen it time and time again, Girls lie about being pregnant all the time. I know its awful, but its true. Only believe pregnancy tests. Some also lie about being on the pill, don't believe that either.

She is probably not pregnant. If she reached an orgasim this can actually spawn a period sooner than it naturally would have started - which can explain why she only bled for two days. However, your friend was right in saying that you can have a period while pregnant. I have known a few people who have had this happen. The best thing she can do is wait a couple weeks and then take a test. That's the only way to be sure.

She could be and the bleeding could be implantation bleeding which happens several days after having unprotected sex. What I would do is the day before you leave go to the doctor and get a blood test done it MIGHT be able to detect if she is pregnant or not but it might also to be to early im not sure, have her call her doctor. That was irresponsible of you. Society may be shifting its perceptions on marriage but it's definitely wiser to stick to the old traditional way of starting families. Do you actually know the implications of it all?

No she's not pregant and No she should not be having symptons as of yet, and Yes it's normal to have cramps afterwards as well as bleeding if you're close to your next cycle date and/or if you just came off it. So NO in my opinion, she just may want your baby really badly and she's trying to convince herself (because you had unprotected sex) that she is pregant; but believe me sweetie she's not pregnant!

I would say if she is bleeding she probably is not. Was she a virgin? If she was sometimes you have pains after your first time. Best thing you can do is try a pregnancy test now. Good luck brother.

Its best you go and consult with a doctor. There are pregnant testing that will be avaiable in the pharmcy. But thats not 100% accurate.

so a week ago you had sex??? there is no way she would even know yet....the only way is by blood test at this point her body wouldn't even be doing anything yet...

i think that before you need you need to have her take a pregnancy test and also see a doctor because 4 moths is a long time if your girlfriend and you might be having a baby!

She may very well be pregnant (I know you probably don't want to hear this) but like your friend I bled for almost 2-3 months with both my pregnancies and was pregnant that whole time so it is very possible....instead of just asking around go buy a pregnancy test or have her go to a clinic and get one done cause that is the only real way you are gonna find out...good luck to you both

It is possible to be pregnant and have a period. It is also possible to be hormonal because of stress and have a little period or even none. Too early to tell.

If she had her period, then the odds are astronomically against her being pregnant. It can happen, but you should be safe. Womens cycles are odd things that can frequently do things they aren't used to, so don't freak untill next month. If she misses it next month, then you can freak.

Cramps are a normal part of the menstural cycle, as well as changes in eating habits. After my period first starts I rarely feel like eating but as the week progresses, I have immense cravings for certain foods. Chances are, she is experiencing symptons of PMS, especially considering the fact that she bled for for two consecutive days. It is possible for a pregnant woman to have a period but it's not likely. If your girlfriend thinks she is pregnant, I would recommend she take a home pregnancy test. Relax. If your girlfriend stresses herself out about it, she is likely to convince herself she is pregnant, which is probably not the case. It's unlikely. Cramps precede a period but not a pregnancy that's only a week old. She probably just had a light period. About the other girls's story... To be 4 months pregnant and not know it.... now that's a stretch !!!! Before you ship out, have her take a blood test.

There have been cases where some women have had periods throughout their pregnancy, but she might have fibroid problems. She needs to see a gynecologist they will automatically run a pregnancy test and check her. I doubt seriously that she's pregnant.

Well first of all its to early to tell cause a test wont even tell you till its been two weeks so id say no, just because she is haveing cramps doesnt mean she is prego. So id say wait it out for another week or two get a test and then go from there. Another thing that could be happening is that she is cramping cause she is stressing out about the fact that she could be prego. so i dont think she is but like i said you will never know for sure till you take a test.

Well my mother had her period for six months while she was pregnant with my brother but she knew by the second month that she was pregnant because she took a test (she tested herself cause she knew she had unprotected sex with my dad). Yes there it is possible that she is but don't worry to much about it (I know its hard not to) because if she is then she is. Three is nothing you can do about it. It's really 50/50. I only had unprotected sex once and me and my husband has a 6 year old son. My brother and his wife had unprotected sex a few times when they were drunk and don't have any children yet. So know ones really going to have the answer for you. Its on gods hands now. Hope for the best. Good luck.

She would have no idea now if she was pregnant. You only had sex a week ago and there's no way she would know.

If this all just happened last Friday, then she would not be having any symptoms yet. It is too early for all that. Yes, it is possible to have a period and still be pregnant (it happened to me with both of my kids). I honestly don't think that she is pregnant though. Her only having a 2 day period could be due to stress from the fact that the sex was unprotected and/or that you are leaving next week. The only thing you do is wait and have her take a prenancy test. A urine test would not show up right now, even if she is pregnant, so she would need to go to the doctor and have them do a blood test to find out. Good luck

Well I dont know if shes pregant or not, But it is possible to bleed while your pregant..Its not unheard of< I done this for the frist 2 months of my pregancy.. It would be to early to tell if you just had the unprotected sex last friday...but if she just spotted for 2 days, then yes its very well possible she is. sounds to me like she WANTS to be pregnant because your leaving...perhaps, she doesnt want you to go, so thats why stress caused her period to act a little funny this time...and how do you know for a fact that she bled only two days...this could be something shes just telling you...she couldve had a perfectly normal one and just telling you otherwise....if i were you, i wouldnt have sex with her again until I found out what the status was on her NOW...if she takes a test and its negative and you decide to have sex with her again, make sure you WRAP IT UP...sounds like a snatcher to me...good luck
