Research Paper Topic... Please Help!!?

I am in 8th grade and I have been assigned a researh paper that must be about something relating to either the Civil War or World War II. I'm thinking about doing Clara Barton, women nurses, or women soldiers in the Civil War but the whole Holocaust and concentration camp thing is way interesting too; I can't decide!! I have 3 or 4 online articles marked about women as nurses and soldiers in the Civil War but my mom's side of the family has been Jewish and in Europe forever from about 2 or 3 generations back so its very important to me... I cannot decide. Please give me the topic you would choose and some links to articles and / or sites I can use to research that topic. My teacher suggested that we could talk about how many people went willingly to Auswitch (spelling?) and why; they thought it was a work camp, they were poor and wanted to be fed, etc. So PLEASE, PLEASE help me!!

I would do something about the Holocaust. Is there a Holocaust museum in your area? That would be a great place to start and to get good information. Here are a few links - there are numerous on line resources about the Holocaust. Best of luck with your paper.
