Why were the guards of the FL Boot Camp Death of the 14yr old child found not-guilty after beating him?

How can guards have been seriously found innocent of causing death in any facility when they said, they beat the person (in this case a 14 year old black kid), believing he was faking he could not do the physical tasks he was being forced to do, only to later find out he was actually sick with a disease (no fault of his own) and collapsed unable to get enough oxygen to breathe and the guards held smelling salts under his nose, while holding their hands over his mouth, forcing him to breathe only the ammonia through his nose actually suffocating him in the process, while he struggled for his life with several other guards and a nurse standing by watching with approval? How can this not be anything but unjustified murder? Ignorance is no excuse, when it unnecessarily causes the death of another individual in their care and control! In reality, this was a helpless child at the mercy of a disease and in the control of nothing less than thugs in a "boot camp" correctional setting!
