Why does, or would, vinegar reduce my tachycardia or irregular heartbeats after smoking?

My doctor/friend tells me that my irregular heartbeats after smoking is not unusual, and not serious. This has gone on for several years. I don't smoke that much, never more than 10 per day - a light smoker.
For the last week or so I've been taking a teaspoon of vinegar after smoking after a friend told me that vinegar works as a "cleansing" for the body - okayyy. Well, perchance I drank a teaspoon diluted in water and noticed that it virtually eliminated the irregular heartbeats, and has done so for the last week. So, why? or, how? My doctor friend is living in another country for several months and thought I would get some thoughts from this group - perhaps cardiac nurses or others familiar with the metabolism and physiology of the heart.

(I have some good experience in MICU's and Emergency Medicine, but am out of the field, now...)

Go back to your friend and have him expain it to you. I have worked in the area of electrophysiology (heart rhythms) for 6yrs. I have never heard of it.

How about not smoking?

Vinegar has been known to strengthen the heart, so that might be the reason it got rid of the irregular heartbeats.

Hearing it from a friend is "hearsay." ask your doctor/friend.
When it come to you heart. You don't mess around.
The only "light" smoker, is a "passive smoker," who doesn't
buy them at all, but have the breath the smoke, of those that
"do." So do us all the favor and "quit," and tell that to your
droctor/friend too. <}:-})

it doesn't. stop smoking and see your cardiologist.

you would prb have to go into a study before they would ever allow it to be used
