Starting in home child care?

My business partner and I are planning to start an in home child care sevice in her home starting in may. We are trying to find grants for small businesses to help us get started. We need to do things like repair her fence, turn her garage into the play room, and but food and supplies, and once we get the business going, we plan to buy a larger vehicle for the daycare. I need help finding a website or company that will give small business money to get started. We plan for this to be our primary income, and we dont have much money to get started. today we purchased a starter kit with all the contracts and everything we just need help finding ways to get it up and running! we are both experienced in child care

Well you mention a "starter" kit with contracts and to be quite honest you'd have to explain that one a bit more. What are the contracts for?

The thing that you have to understand about grants is that they are not automatically guarenteed. You have to apply for them and theoretically speaking the applications that best meet the objectives of the grant program(s) will be the ones that will receive the grant award(s)

The majority of the "starting a business" grant programs that I know of require at least you submitting a business plan so that is one thing that you will have to have first.

Unfortunately you will not fine websites that will "give" you money but you will find websites that will explain their grant programs and tell you what you will need to apply for them. And since these kinds of grant programs are from different places their application process(es) will be different.

Basically speaking finding these websites (or more appropriately) the entities that have the grant programs takes time and effort as any grantwriter will tell you.
