Why do you want to buy a puppy in Mexico?
It would be very simple to get one in the US (unless you are not in the US) and take it with you on your honey moon.
If you do not live in Mexico, you will be really hard pressed to get anything settled if the puppy is not healthy or genetically sound.
Mexican laws concerning buyer dissatisfaction are no where near as involved as in the US.
