Have the democratic candidates come up with a plan to take care of all the illegals they plan on giving?

amnesty? They should tell America what and how they plan on doing this.

Never heard them mention it ever. True McCain has a plan, but what and how for all.

I didn't know that legal immigrant workers had to pay $5,000, that's a lot to work here.

Hey McCain is for it too. So it looks like both sides need to come up with a plan. Rewarding people for breaking the law only leads to more lawlessness.

sure theyre going to steal the $ from the social security fund and kick off the old and disabled make them work and give it all the the illegals and then pat themselves on the back as usual then figure out how to undertable more $ as politicans do...remember politicans are for themselves and not the voter

Most of the illegal immigrants that would qualify for the amnesty would not require aid since they already work full time, and they would only be allowed to bring families with them on their return to the US (most would be required to return to their home country and re-enter the US for security purposes) if they can show that they have health care and their wages put them 150% over the poverty line.

The proposed immigration reforms are meant to recognize and legalize a state of affairs that already exists in the US: that there are certain low status jobs that are to a significant extent filled by illegal immigrants.

Cracking down on illegal immigrants (that is simply removing them from the labor force) would be harmful to a number of industries including but not limited to agriculture, tourism/hotels and construction.

The amnesty on the other hand, has a number of benefits including: requiring many of the illegal immigrants to pay $5000 for a temporary Visa (effectively paying for the program), improving internal security by getting many undocumented people already in the country to identify themselves, and taking revenue sources away from criminal organizations by removing the need for illegal immigrants to produce forged papers/social security numbers.
