matt there is no insurance on the iPhone the manuf warranty only covers defects and sorry to say a cracked screen isnt one of them

I'm sorry but At&t's Iphone Warranty plan cannot cover for physical damges, only technical problems.
But apples warranty plan can because their warrantly includes physical damages and technical problems. So just take your phone to the Apple store and they'll take your phone and try to repair all physical damages, which will charge you a small fee, or if the damage is not fixable they'll charge you a bit more and give you a new phone.
