What is a realistic goal when creating a plan of care? It entirely depends on the disease process and the patient. A realistic goal of a plan of care for a patient with terminal cancer might be preserving dignity and maintaining a pain-fee state for as long as possible. A plan of care for a child with a chronic condition like asthma might be maintenance of a normal life as much as possible. that depends on the problem Huh? Caring for....??? Rehabilitation care? Need more info. A realistic goal in any plan of care, is a goal that it is possible to attain. |
