Just wondering if anyone knows of any useful information sites on caring for hamsters? Planning on getting some and i want to know a bit about them..

This sounds stupid, but make sure they have all of their feet when you buy them. (sometimes the mothers will eat the feet of the babies) Also, if they ever get wet tail (the runs), get some medicine fast or they will die. If you get a wire cage, they will throw their poop through the wires outside and they will also stand on their front legs and pee outside the cage. So if you get a wire cage, put some towels around it. Clean them alot--they stink.
