How can I write up a plan of care for a patient with nonhodgkins lymphoma? |
Along with the non-hodgkins lymphona the patient also suffers from acute renal failure, that needs to coinside with the plan of care. There are many nursing Care plan books you can buy at the bookstore. In the meantime, break it down based on whats wrong. Here is an example a nursing dx could be: Potential for a fluid and electrolyte imbalance related to history of renal failure. Then list your Interventions such as Strict I&O. Maintance of IV fluids. Daily weight, montioring labs closely and reporting abnormals to physician, restrict salt intake. Then potential outcomes: Patient will have normal electroltyes. That is just one example. Take other problems and use the nursing dx to form your plan. Hope this helps. |
