Would Jesus support or oppose Hillary Clinton's universal health care plan?

I personally think that he would disregard the whole issue of health care, because he believed in the power of prayer and supplication to alter people鈥檚 physical state. So I don鈥檛 think he would support or be against universal healthcare. Instead, he would be completely apathetic to the issue, or towards any other political issue. Jesus, if the Biblical account of him is to believed, was under the impression that all earthly measures, outside of charity and pacifism, to change the world for the better, were futile, and that the only way to initiate change was through faith.

Judging by the dismal track record Christians have had in praying for cures for their loved ones - many of whom have died while awaiting cures - goes to show you that Jesus and his followers are in error when it comes to efficacy of their faith.

Anything that has to do with Hilary Clinton is probably opposed by God. If he wasnt so nice and forgiving and loving he'd probably strike her dead.

Oppose. If everyone lived as Jesus wanted, there would be no need for the government to dish out health care, since each person who saw a need in someone else would do what they could to help, even if it meant giving all they had. Jesus believed in every person needed to give cheerfully whatever they could to others, not that it should have to be wrung out of us by force.

Jesus wouldn't support any president; but universal health care is bad because it forces people to go where the government tells them, and it is also destructive to the middle class, because they are going to be the ones that have to pay for most of it. Although it sounds nice, it is not good for America, because Hillary has an another agenda for it, to give our sovereignty to the UN.

I don't think anyone but Jesus can answer that question because you are asking for his opinion and unfortunately you will never get the correct answer because Jesus is dead.

Jesus would support the idea of Universal Health care. That wouldn't necessarily mean he supported Hillary Clinton. I've lived in Canada and in the united States. Universal health care is better and I know because I experienced it. Jonathan said that the government tells you where to go (Which they don't again, I've lived there). How bout networks? If I go outside my network I don't get coverage. Who's telling who where to go. Health care coverage in the US SUCKS. They're the only country in the western world with out universal healthcare and The United States is ranked #37 as a health system by the World Health Organization. Plus they spend more on health care per person than any other place in the world! This is ridiculous. If you've lived with it all your life I understand being reluctant to change. But one day you'll be sick and be stuck with a huge bill because you either won't have insurance or your insurance won't cover it all. Maybe you'll lose your house, maybe you'll go bankrupt, maybe you'll just not be able to pay for the treatment and die. Jesus was kind, gentle and compassionate He would never support a healthcare system driven by lust for profit. Support a universal health care plan!
