Provider who elects not to participate with given health care plan.? |
Provider who elects not to participate with given health care plan.? Well, they're allowed to not participate! I got the answer: It is "NON PAR". Thanks for your response. Report It What is the question? Your health care plan will tel you whether or not you can use this provider, as some will only allow certain providers. My insurance plan allows me to go to the provider of my choice, called a PPO (Preferred Provider Option). If you have an insurance and your existing doctor does not participate, you either have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by your insurance or pick a participating provider. You can't force an insurance to pay for a non-par provider, and you can't force a non-par provider to accept an insurance. |
