Who else praises Sen. Kennedy's National Universal Health Care plan?

No one who has actually understood it supports it...it is the same crappy plan Hillary tried to get Bill to force through in his first term...it was soundly defeated then and it will be soundly defeated again...

I think it is needed. But we must have penalties for abuse and extra payments from those who fail are obese, overweight, or smoke. Report It

I am not sure if I praise this, I really need to do more research before I make a decision. But one think I will say since I am from MA Sen. Kennedy is a jerk and I can't stand him LOL..

Of course I support Kennedy's idea, unfortunately there are to many greedy self centered money mongers in control to prevent helping the people in the country who desperately need health care...forty six million in this country without health care..but never a problem to spend billions on other countys...because weapons manufacturing is a very profitable business...

Kennedy needs to leave the senate and go find another bottle of booze to drown himself in and that is what I think of any thing that comes out of his mouth. The man is a complete idiot and a drunken one at that.

I dont know if its a good or bad thing but he does deserve a thumbs up for at least trying something different and trying to fix the problem.

I'm not a big fan of him,he ought be in jail.The health care in this country sucks,especially for the low income people,and SOMETHING needs to be done,but whatever it is,I'm sure the government will find a way to screw it up.

The only way I'd praise it is if he was paying for it out of his OWN pocket.

I am not a long term expert on this site, but once you go "public" with a question, or an answer, be ready for whatever comes your way.
I "praise" Sen Kennedy for promotong the bill for the very reason that (1) It is his right to do so (2) It is his JOB to do so (3) he probably has to, because the Lobbyists (bribery artists ) have PAID him to do so, and also because by doing so he will generate instant dislike of the bill, because HE promotes it.
In Reality, since my mom is French-Canadian and they have Universal Health care, IF YOU want to wait forever in line; have NO choice in what doctor you see, then go for it.
I am a contractor. NONE of my guys can afford insurance. I can't afford it. Does the American Medical Association, with its UNLAWFUL monopoly on "health care" in America deserve to be busted up? Yes.
Are wages fair in America? No. Do about 03 % of the population in the USA "control 96 % of all wealth?" yes. Do we need a revolution? Yes.
Remember what Thomas Jefferson said - " I hold that a rebellion every 20 years or so to be a good and vital thing." Why? Blood shed keeps politicins FEARFUL (OF US ) AND HONEST.

I hope it does not go through and am betting it will not. Other countries who have national health care offer health care that is sub-par.......their service is notoriously slow.

i dunno that i support him....but we need to do something to drive down the cost of medicine. it is insane! there is NO WAY a visit to the doc should cost 250 bucks to be there on time wait 45 min past the appt time just to see the doc for 5 min. it should be more like 10 bucks! i just hope we can do something about it!
