Why are we allowing Hillary (and her socialistic health care plan) to run for President?

She has the right to run, I'm just asking why is everyone in favor of voting for a Socialist.

No permission from anyone is needed to run for president. I'm not even sure a political party can prevent a member from running.

Why are we allowing her to run??? BECAUSE THIS IS A DEMOCRACY! I don't agree with her, I won't vote for her, but as a Marine I fight for her right to run... just as your rights not to vote for her.

Because there are very few free thinkers in this country! And the majority of people who vote -" just go with the flow" - they ask their friends who they are going to vote for, and then they follow that opinion. Regrettably America is becoming a nation of followers - there are so few true leaders out there any more! This is of course just my opinion. But you asked the question.

Me, personally, I want Hillary for President. Most people don't, but I do. So I'm not going to stop her. Or anyone else, for that matter.

Well first of all bud, I think you've got Hillary, with her corporate backers, confused with someone else, because she is hardly a socialist.
Second, it's a free country. Any millionaire can run for president, unless you're named Ralph Nader, of course. Then you get harassed out the wazzoo, fraudulently kept off the ballot in many states, and charged thousands for even thinking about being a candidate.
And thirdly, what the hell is wrong with having a nation that is healthy and holds healthcare to be a priority for all?
If our waddling, wheezing, pill-popping nation were ever to have to fight a war that didn't involve buttons and lasers, we'd be in a world of <insert favorite scatalogical expletive>
We need to shape up and stop treating good health as if it were a big screen tv for a welfare queen. Preventative medicine is a matter of national security at this point and I would venture to state that anyone who disagreed should have a "honk if you love alqueda" sticker on their caddy.

Everyone thinks they are going to get things for free, i.e. healthcare, $5,000 per child, etc. What everyone doesn't realize is that nothing it free because your taxes will go up. In fact, Democrats in Congress already have a bill waiting to be introduced when they control Congress and the White House. It is a $1,000,000,000,000 increase..yes, TRILLION! That is an average tax increase of over $33,000 per person!!! Look it up.

Probably because the USA is meant to be a democracy, not a right wing dictatorship.

It is more capitalistic than social since the substities will be going to rich private health insurers.
