What is your cost of Hillary's health care plan.?

She proposes to spend $110 billion to insure 47 million Americans, or roughly 1/6th of the US population. The cost per capita is $2340 for each of the 47 million people who will get free health insurance. $152.9 million people are in the civilian work force in the US. So, the average that civilian employees will pay is about $749/year to insure others. Is it worth it to you?

no, i think this is a perfect example of democrats once again trying to steal our liberty. why should i pay more taxes to help some smoker with lung cancer? that smoker made their own personal decision to smoke and i have to pay their stupid ******* medical bills? or some fat **** who cant even get up on their own because they ate so god damn much, i have to help them get a gastric bypass surgery? its completely insane, but ofcourse the liberals just want to help everyone right? even irresponsible people who probably shouldnt be helped. its just funny to me how stupid some people are.

nope, but the illegals will really appreciate hillarys efforts

That's less than what I pay currently with my health plan. I am more than willing to. Working in education, we often find that many of our students problems stem from health related problems, so it might even help me out in my work.

It is if your work doesn't provide any and if one cannot get it otherwise. The freeloading non working welfare and the illegals get free care with out paying any taxes. Why cant we when we pay taxes and will be paying our share of the health cost.

The real cost is our freedom, it is far more precious than money. If she is elected and pushes her slavery plan through, we can all kiss America good-bye. We'll be a socialist slaves with high unemployment and poor production, just like Europe.

Heil Hillary!

Actually, I think it's rather inexpensive and also way off track. I'd tend to believe that Neal Boortz probably has a better take on things:

"Hillary's $110 billion a year will become $300 billion a year"

I don' have any health care coverage- I'm one of those Americans who is employed by a small business that can't afford to provide health care to it's employees. It's just too expensive...
The government spends ALOT of money on what I feel is ridiculous things... things that are not nearly as important as taking care of it's own people. There is more money spent on other countries than ours.

So if everybody can get coverage for apx $750 a year then that sounds pretty good to me considering that it's costing the average person twice that amount now.

Whatever income I have will belong to her for, the crazy project of hers called health plan and the vary many more social programs that she'll come up with (if...she becomes the P).

iraq is costing tax payers $12M an HOUR...how much does each tax payer owe ?...click the link, get an answer and decide where you'd rather spend your money

hmm 749 a year. Sounds like way less than just about everyone is paying now. Good idea Hill. I got an idea how about we take all the money we are wasting on the drug war and the war in Iraq right now and set up a national health care. And we wouldn't even have to raise taxes. In fact we could cut them. Now we are talking. National health care and a tax cut who could argue with that.

Yes it's worth it. I pay more than three time that for my insurance.

Israel has a good plan too: http://www.la-briut.org.il/english/artic...

Cheaper than funding the IRaq war

This is not the government's responsiblity! I guess she hasn't figured out that increasing the number of H1-B's will throw more Americans out of work and leave even more people uninsured.

I'm guessing she's trying to get the poor, uninsured votes.

The cost of Hillary's health care plan? An arm and a leg. Probably literally.
Hillary and the dems are all too altruistic with other people's money. Who is John Galt and where is he when we need him?

The type of health care Hillary is proposing has no place in a working democracy. I agree 110% with Bortz, if the government runs Hillary care the price will double or possibly triple simply because the United States Government can't run anything efficiently. I also believe that National health care would ruin health care the way we know it today. And finally, If people want all to have health insurance in their state, why don't they pass a resolution to insure the un-insured in their state. Most states are doing it anyway... It's called welfare!

I'd prefer my tax dollars go to health care for American's than to Bush's war.

Easy, we take the $110 billion out of the military budget. All we have to do is shift some numbers from one page in the federal budge to another.

My wife and I pay $600 per year for both us. That gives 2 people health, life, AD&D, vision and dental.

I guarantee you the government benefits would not be as good as what we currently have.

So we'll be paying more for less coverage.

And this notion that socialized health care would somehow make up for freeloaders and illegals is ridiculous. If they're illegal, they're not paying taxes. If they're simply lazy freeloaders, their taxes are going to be incredibly low becuase they have little income to tax. They are still going to be freeloaders and illegals not paying for health care. Screw them, I ain't paying it for them.

Socialized medicine has been a failure everywhere its been done. If the Canadian system is so great, why do people desperate for care come to the United States? If the English system is so great, why are private clinics popping up all over the place? The Netherlands? Great. Take a look at the needle receptacle on the street corner and say hello to government sanction drug addiction.

Anybody who doesn't think Hillary is a hardcore socialist is either willingly blind to reality or lying to themselves. Just look at the freaking health care plan.

This is all about having more power over your life. If you are utterly dependent on the government for basic health care, you won't dare vote for someone who wants to get rid of it, even if you want to.

Liberty dies with a whimper. Congratulations.

"Senator Clinton's latest health scheme includes more government mandates, expensive federal subsidies and more big bureaucracy 鈥?in short, prescription for an increase in wait times, a decrease in patient care and tax hikes to pay for it all

Not to mention , those 47 million at the time of the information gathering , ( that number goes up everyday as they cross the borders Illegally)
out of 47 million , Half are illegal ( around 24 million) 5 million were college age who were in between converting from Mom,and dad's policy to their own policy , 17.5 million were those who qualified for medicaid / medicare but would not apply , and lastly the half million who were between jobs and temporarily going without coverage due to not buying in to the COBRA coverage that is offered at much higher cost , for a short amount of time.

It is not my responsibility , to insure that illegals and junkies have health insurance , It IS my duty to see thay my children have coverage , not yours ,
Just wait until that number goes up , at the rate of illegals crossing the border , it will not be long and the number will be $1000.00 per year , then it will go higher , it may be higher before the plan is put it to action ,
We all can not just add 1000 per year to our budget , I will have to cut something out , I give 1500 per year to St. Judes (childrens ) and I give 2000 per year to the Burned Childrens unit , I would like to increase my giving over the years , but I will have to take money from the ones who really need it , and give it to illegals , and crack heads , I do not think so

I pay close to 30% in taxes at each of my jobs. And as long as those taxes are going to help those in THIS country, I don't have a problem with it. And no, I can't afford health insurance. Minimum for me would be $8,600 every year. And that is only for the monthly premiums and deductable.

No, not a junkie, not a smoker. I had several back surgeries when I did have health insurance, 2 the insurance refused to cover. Ended up filing bankruptcy.

Can't qualify for Medicaid. 30 more years before Medicare.

47 million will get free health insurance? Where on earth do you come up with that?

Are ALL of them not working? No? Then they will pay into the system too. Just like I pay into it now. Why does everyone ignore that?

Take the $10 billion spent in Iraq every month and put it into this and guess what? THAT pays for the health care.

yes, it will also insure me
