Does anyone know of an affordable health care plan I can get for my Wife? |
I did a search and asked for quotes, unfortunately, the Wolves smelled blood and we received about 10 calls a day, needless to say, I disconnected my phone number and went cellular. These Sharks are relentless. I just want to know what the best and the least expensive one is without a sales pitch. I live in Montana Go to a reputable insurance broker that handles individual health policies. Forget the on-line shysters. If you have an insurance agency that you know and trust. I would go there and speak with them. That is how I got mine. They have access to different policies and will work with you to find the best fit... If I knew what state you lived in I could help more. Check your state's website for Dept. of Insurance. They list the carriers available in your state. Some will offer Individual coverage. They also provide the rates on line. You can also apply on line. Sorry, without knowing the state that's all I can give you. Locate the Blue Cross Blue Shield online in your state. The website will have pricing, and the ability to apply online. Most plans cover annual physicals, gynecological exams, office visits, urgent care, and medication with a low co-pay, the deductible does not need to be met first. Maternity will not be covered most likely. you aren't doing yourself any favors if you purchase health insurance without a personal visit from an agent. In fact, in Florida, whenever I write an application I have to sign certifying that I have personally observed the patients and that they have answered the questions in person. Some companies will sell it anyway, but I assure you they will build in some sort of "safety net" for themselves, such as an extended contestability period. I would advise you to seek out comparitive rates online, for sure to get some ballpark idea. But, do yourself a favor and seek out an agent whom you know personally, and let them know exactly what you want. If they are worth doing business with, you shouldn't have any problem with them. The least expensive one is the one with the least coverage and the highest deductible. There isn't much "competition". If you're looking for maternity benefits, you're not going to get them on an individual policy, without an 18 month wait before they kick in. |

I think having a mandate is nuts, and that is what Hillary wants. People don't want to pay a fine if they can not buy into insurance. ...I sure hope so! ...Well, since they blame everything on the Republicans, I guess they will be responsible. ...Basically..A care plan addresses a problem with a solution.
