Anyone read the fine print of either Obama's or Hillary's national health care plans?

-The four hour waits you'd have at your doctor's office

-Over crowded hospitals

-Not enough prescription meds because of Govt. price controls

-Too many surgeries & not enough surgeons

-Not only having to pay higher taxes for the socialized medicine but having to pay extra for private medical care.

-And instantly throwing 45 million uninsured people will most likely overwhelm an already overwhelmed US health care system that will implode from the tidal wave of new people.

-But it would certainly help stop illegal immigrants from getting health care because it will be impossible for any US doctor to see them.

Amazing what you learn when you look at the fine print?

you will LAY OUT THE FACTS and none of the liberals will look twice at them....

they dont get it... they never will.

how the hell would they think this is a good idea??? exactly why i think it's a mental disorder!!!

But hey, they wont raise taxes, because they plan to make money by taxing food.

From each, according to their ability.

To each, according to their need.

-Karl Marx

Did you get those bullet points out of a corporate health care pamphlet?

Try telling this to the millions of uninsured or insufficiently insured Americans that are dying from treatable cancers or suffering with chronic pain because they can't afford basic treatment.

Open your obtuse little eyes.

NO big deal

Remember the Patriot Act was passed before the first draft was complete.

You don't have to take the free health care. they aren't going to completely stop the privatized thing we have now and make it all government. It's just for people who can't afford it.

If everyone is insured, that prevents losses to health care providers, preventing them from having to raise prices on the insured, and promoting them having a reason to increase staff, creating more jobs and more disposable wealth for people who already have their own insurance.
You act like more people are going to get treated!
Isn't going to happen roughy the same amount will seek treatment, just more people will pay for it rather than having health care providers raise the prices on those of us who do!

try listening to much less talk radio, and you might actually be able to see the forest for the trees.

You private insurance peddlers will stop at nothing - will you?

Much of what you described already exists in the health care environment today. We can do better. Yes, we can!

What page did you get that "fine print" from?

No fine print yet. Count on a year at least for either plan...and many adaptations.
Neither have discussed COSTS to the public yet...to purchase...or mandate costs.
they have not fiqured it out.
What we got was... the plan...how they would purpose it to FIRST the insurance and drug companies...
which then might help with coming up with prices
and then...off to congress and the senate
we got a ways to go.
with either plan

By the way...if you have insurance....you do not have to do anything.
just business as usual. no change needed.

both propose paying for it in part with monies from - TAX CREDITS given to the filthy rich oil companies...and in part who ever buys it...and reduced prices...from insurance companies...than what they charging now.

There will be no national heath care plan ! But there will be more Lies ! Lies after Lies and buy there lies ! There in no way the country can do it ! maybe one one but after you pay your 1000 dollar co-payment for each visit maybe then they can pull it off ?
.
Stop the north america union it is evil and it will lead to one world order !
Do you know your Second Amendment ??

You need to read more.

Here's Obama's health plan

here's Hillary's health plan

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/feature/he...

Between the two plans. In the Hillary's plan the health care insurance industry has a choke hold on the public. The plan is managed and administered by the same corrupt and scandal ridden HMOs that won't pay for many medical entitlements .Buying insurance is mandated or compulsory under the penalty of law. I don't like being forced to buy a product I don't like or I don't need.

Obama's plan is not mandated or not compulsory. You can choose different health plans if you don't like the public plan.
This is more palatable. It is a basic public plan and anyone can opt to buy more private health insurance coverage or choose not to use the public plan and choose a private health insurance through an exchange system. Here if a private health insurance provider would like to compete with the public plan they can do so and offer it to the taxpayers as a competitive product or another choice.

Under both of these plans it will be easier for you to get x-rays or catscans on your dog than it will be for you. At least our pets will be healthier.

Don't forget the BILLIONS more down the tubes to the insurance companies who are NOT to be reformed under either plan (or anyone else's) and now don't pay what they owe! They also control the market in many areas--antitrust laws are NOT applied to them and the government just wrings its impotent little hands and cries.

When 75% of the people who declare bankruptcy over medical bills ARE INSURED, then insurance is CLEARLY not the answer.
"Aldrich鈥檚 situation is "asinine" but increasingly common, said Dr. Deborah Thorne of Ohio University. Thorne, co-author of a widely quoted 2005 study that found medical bills contributed to nearly half of the 1.5 million personal bankruptcies filed in the U.S. each year, said that ratio has likely worsened since the data was gathered.
...
Like Aldrich, Thorne said, three-quarters of the individuals in the study who declared bankruptcy because of health problems were insured. "

Linda Peeno, MD testified that SHE had often denied treatment JUST to save the insurance company money http://www.thenationalcoalition.org/DrPe...

Furthermore:
"the vast majority of health insurance policies are through for-profit stock companies. They are in the process of 鈥渟hedding lives鈥?as some term it when 鈥渦ndesirable鈥?customers are lost through various means, including raising premiums and co-pays and decreasing benefits (Britt, 鈥淗ealth insurers getting bigger cut of medical dollars,鈥?15 October 2004, investors.com). That same Investors Business Daily article from 2004 noted the example of Anthem, another insurance company. They said the top five executives (not just the CEO) received an average of an 817 percent increase in compensation between 2000 and 2003. The CEO, for example, had his compensation go from $2.5 million to $25 million during that time period. About $21 million of that was in stock payouts, the article noted.

A 2006 article, 鈥淯.S. Health Insurance: More Market Domination, More CEO Compensation鈥?br> (hcrenewal.blogspot.com) notes that in 56 percent of 294 metropolitan areas one insurer 鈥渃ontrols more than half the business in health maintenance organization and preferred provider networks underwriting." In addition to having the most enrollees, they also are the biggest purchasers of health care and set the price and coverage terms. 鈥溾€橳he results is double-digit premium increases from 2001 and 2004鈥攑eaking with a 13.9 percent jump in 2003鈥攕oaring well above inflation and wages increases.鈥?quot; Where is all that money going? The article quotes a Wall Street Journal article looking at the compensation of the CEO of UnitedHealth Group. His salary and bonus is $8 million annually. He has benefits such as the use of a private jet. He has stock-option fortunes worth $1.6 billion."

We need a true free market and a lot less violation of the laws of the land.
