Does anyone knows the planning considerations regarding health care?

I'm not sure what you are looking for specifically but here are a few options:

First, consider medical savings accounts. Money you set aside in a medical saving account is still your money and you still control it. If you don't have any medical emergencies, the money accumulates with time. There are programs out there that will split the difference, putting some money in a medical savings account while still giving you coverage if you should need it.

Second, there are medical coops out there, particularly Christian ones, where you enter into an agreement with a group of like minded individuals to pay each other's bills. If an emergency arises the coop or organization asks for money from its members to pay for it. The larger the coop, the less each individual member has to pay for it.

If you are planning on having any babies, consider having them at home. Home birthing has in recent times taken off again, and some studies have shown that birthing at home is often safer than birthing in a hospital, and is better for the overall well being of the family. It will also save you money! You just have to be prepared to handle things yourself, and if an emergency should arise, to be prepared to go to the hospital. However, 90+% of all births in this country are perfectly normal and can be conducted safely at home!

In regards to planning a home birth, you may have to plan for having a midwife at home, or plan on doing everything yourself. According to one EMT book though, delivering a baby is so easy, a seven year old can do it!

Anyways, without knowing your specifics, that should cover a broad spectrum of issues related to "health care". For more information follow the links below.

. You mean 'planning' by our Governemnt?
What they 'plan' to do is decrease health benefits. We gotta spend that $$ over there in Iraq killing people.
