What health and saftey laws would you bear in mind when planning the care of a client?

As a Care Assistant myself i can tell you there are a lot of laws to take into consideration when dealing with a client. The main ones are:-
Manual Handling, COSHH, Fire Safety, Medicines Training, Communication, Abuse Awareness, First Aid, Hazards and Risk Assessments and many more.
Always remember as well - they are humans too, respect their rights to Dignity, Freedom of Choice and Privacy - you won't go wrong and this goes to whatever client with whatever condition.
Good Luck with your work!

all, moving and handling, coshh, care standards, health and safety at work, pressure problems, sharps if on any injections. Risk assesments. all from basics all the way up.

All the laws pertaining to the care of a an individual. If its an elderly or handicapped person there are special laws
