We should not be made to take care of our elderly parents? |
Why do YOU think we should not be made to take care of our elderly parents, come on this space is just for you to vent your annoyanve and frustration of having to take care of elderly parents, or simply voice out your opinions, why we should NOT be made to take of our parents FSECRETS blows more head than a whale blows water!!! thats horrible. your parents took care of you when you were a child..so now its your turn to take care of them and return the gratitude. you take care of them because its the right thing to do..even if they werent the best parents in the world. you better have a GOOD excuse not too..like it your parents abused you or something truama filled like that. I think we should take care of our parents. Honor thy father and mother. I think of all the love they have given to me and I am indebted. I think it is our duty to take care of our elderly parents. You know I not only care for my father who suffered a stroke but also for my brother who suffered a brain aneurysm. My father is at our home where I care for him. My brother has to be in a nursing home due to all the medical care needed that I just can't provide. But I'm my brothers legal guardian which means I must constantly make decisions about the care given to him as well as to buy him all the things he needs such as clothing, etc. Plus of course take my father to visit with him and that's like having two small children since neither of them can do much on their own. But even though it takes up a lot of time I'd never change the way things are right now. That's my father who raised me the very best he could and that's my big brother who was always sticking up for me whenever I needed him. So one could call me a fool or whatever but at least I'm not selfish. |
