What's the latest trend in emergency rooms, emergency nursing and emergency drug?

What's the latest trend in emergency rooms, emergency nursing and emergency drug?

That is a huge question. ER medicine is constantly evolving, often on a daily basis. You need to be more specific about what you are looking for.

I have been in the ER 6 times in the last 14 months, due to allergic reactions. ( 4 different ER s) diagnosed patients who weren't on anti anxiety medicines First: as "anxious and in need of an anti anxiety medicine"... second ... what they came in for !!
to list a few of the reasons some were there, broken arm, diabetic who forgot insulin, the flu,a virus, needed stitches, passing out, severe vomiting, angina and just about every type of emergency !!!
Thankfully I had it in my record that my PCP had rx'd some for me,to take away the side effects of the Predisone I have to take for severe allergic reactions to latex and shrimp !!
The only other person who was not told they were anxious, was a lady with Multipal Personality Disfunction...she was probally already on it..
My friends who brought me in were blown away by it too..
Drug companies pay hospitals, clinics, and doctors a ceratin amount of money for every Rx they wrote...to get the "kick back" they had to Rx a certain number of Rx s.
