Can a woman that had a brain operation due to an aneurysm can flight in a jet for at least three hours?

She is in a nursing home and being discharged because our Medicaid request was denied and we can not afford the stay.

Sure she can right up to the point where her head explodes.

I have no idea, i would suggest consulting a doctor about that one.

i would think not my cousin had an anuerysm and she says no roller coasters

no idea

while many ppl can have survived such surgery, every person and their individual recovery is unique... checking with a doc who knows her history is optimal; checking with a doc would be responsible... I'd hate to see you go on the advice gotten here and have it backfire, yanno? I respect all folks who answer but no one here short of a doc who can assess her history can really answer that definitively and even then.........................

If you're worried about the differing air pressures exaserbating
the aneurysm then yes, it should be safe. All modern jet aircraft that are designed for passengers are climate and air pressure controlled. they are designed to keep the ambient air pressure at that of sea level. I would caution you however and since I'm unaware of all the circumstances involved in your family member's condition that you consult her neurologist for his or her opinion as to whether or not it is safe for her to fly. Again though, if it's simply the varying air pressures that are your concern then it should be perfectly safe.

Good Luck!

I have a friend who had a tumor removed from the brain.
Friend flies overseas for holidays.
You should seek medical advice to be safe.
