Upcoming flight?

I am flying tomorrow with my 11 month old son, and I am wondering if I can bring a pillow or boppy on the plane, and if so, does this count as a carry on? I know the seats are small, but with the armrest up I'd like to nurse comfortably. Any thoughts? Thanks.

you can call and ask but sometimes planes have pillows

I would either put it in your carry on or use the pillows on the airline. You might have to use a few of them since they're so small. A boppy might be too large for the seats, though, and bother whoever is next to you. Maybe they'd let you move to an empty area to nurse. The last thing you want to do is bring it to the airport with you and have them tell you that you can't take it on the plane because you already have your carry on allowance, so you'd better call to make sure.
