Which is a better career?nursing or flight attendant?

Please help me decide?there are a lot of filipinos here in the US who keeps on insisting that nursing is better. is that true?

Nursing!!!!!!! You canm help people and you can do it anywhere anytime....the other job you get kicked out when you are older than 40

it's safer on the ground with the drunk doctors instead of the drunk pilots...nursing is best.

I hope this is not all you can do!

Think about other things, perhaps your own business!

Nursing is less dangerous. I would hate to be you if you were working and a terrorist hijacked the plane o_o

Nursing is much better, you can specialize in something and the pay is generally better. Also, it's been proven that being a flight attendant can lower your fertillity, something about being in a pressurised container for long periods of time or something.

i would pick flight attendant over a nursing career any day... you could travel the world and see things other than death...
I went to nursing school, worked the ER and seeing someone die and not being about to save them sucks

to me a flight attendant, you get to see the world with nursing you get help people but you also have to deal with litres of blood and vomit day after day. i'd be a flight attendant, think of all the places you'll get to see that you probably never would.

it depends on what your looking for in a job. If you want to have a stable job with high demand then be a nurse. Whereas if you want to see the world and like to live out of a suitcase then a flight attendant is what you want. It all matters on your personality

with the nursing shortage, and the airlines have so much fiscal woes. the answer is clear. Nursing would be the best bet for pay, and keeping a job.

nursing.. Better job security and better pay with benefits. I know doctors who went to train to be nurses because being a doctor didnt pay as well as being a nurse! Airlines are constantly taking cuts and crappier benefits. As a nurse you will be in high demand. There is a shortage of nurses.

Personally, I believe the opportunities to move forward and the overall job security of nursing make it the better option for an occupation. Nurses are always in need: hospitals, elderly homes, in times of diasters, etc. Flight attendents on the other hand are subject to an industry which is by all means not as stable as the healthcare industry.

The world is going to run out of oil in your lifetime. Which one, nurse or flight attendant, do you think will be needed more when the oil runs out? The world desperately needs nurses. See the World Health Organization's website about new programs that may help pay for your nursing education. Get serious. Get tough. Nursing is the second most critically difficult degree program in the world. And, it's not a career for sissies. Good luck. P.C. Registered Nurse

Nursing, a lot better pay than flight attendant, and a lot more job opportunities.

Nursing is definitely better. As a flight attendant you are basically a sky waitress. You get free flights as a benefit, but this is only useful if you need to travel to visit family. As a nurse, you can have a settled down lifestyle where your career actually truly makes a difference in people's lives.

Keeping in view various factors : Nursing is far better than flight attendant
