What is a flight nurse? |
What is a flight nurse and what are some of his of her duties? Flight nurses work with EMS helicopters and airplanes, providing emergency care to patients while being transported by air. Flight nurses are basically nurses that work in medivac services ie. medical helicopters, air ambulances, etc... There duties are to tend to the patients the same as ems does in an ambulance. |
