Can I pursue a nursing program working full time? |
What about becoming a forensic nurse? Would love to get into that. If its to rigorous of a program, what medical field could I get into that I can do part time and pays well? Thanks everyone! my daughter worked full time and became an LPN. she worked in medical records before and wanted more nursing. so while she took the nursing she worked at a mcdonald's for a yr. and that's what she kept telling herself .. it's only for a yr. a forensic nurse would be exciting and i would say probably pays well too. i'm sure it would involve chemistry and whatever else goes along with it. of course you can always do some research and find out what all you have to take for the forensic part. good luck!! Forensic Nurse sounds awesome, Go for it, no matter what it takes, or what obstacles you come across. Good luck you would really have a hard time, but it can be done Lot's of people pursue nursing while working, but it is hard. Forensic everything has become so popular since TV shows like CSI. The market is going to be saturated. It would be better to try for some other form of nursing. |

I'm not a forensic nurse, but from what I have heard from co-workers it is a rather limited field and therefore jobs are not always easy to find. Hospitals only need so many rape crisis nurses...
