Forensic Nursing; what qualifications do I need?

I'm a qualified looking for a new direction. I think I'd enjoy forensic nursing but I'm unsure of how to move into this field. Can anybody offer me advice?

what quals do you have? you could do forensic psychology? or psychiatry. Surrey uni, (Guildford) do an MSC in Forensic psychology. when i was there a lot of the lecturers came from Broadmoor and as part of the course u had to spend some time there. not sure what the course is like now, i dont see any reason why they wouldnt still be running, it - you can give them a call to find out.

fascinating but grim - you really have to be able to 'leave work at work'.

good luck matey!

PS looking at your mssge - you're a qualified what? nurse? if so should be other avenues i would imagine where u can take relvant courses andmaybe your employers would fund this?
