Not Herpes but pain is similar?

I have sensitivity and slight pain on the left side of my scrotum. I have been tested for all STD's and HIV and results are negative for all especially Herpes. I was worried that I had herpes after I told STD nurse that I had pain and itch on the scrotum. She said that I was 100% had herpes before testing. Test came back negative. But I still don't know what is causing this itch, pain, and sensitivity to cotton underwear. I am also experiencing foot issues. Discomfort from wearing shoes for a period of time. I have worn overworn or bad shoes for sometime which have caused discomfort. I thought that it was neuralgia from diabetes. Anyway, can someone give advice on what this maybe. Would the scrotal issues be connected to the foot issues. Maybe some sort of nerve damage issue. I am overweight.

Well that's great you don't have any STD's! It sounds like they both are not related. The grown issue might be fungal. The foot issue sounds weight related or nerve. Both will need to be seen by a doctor immediately.

No idea on this one, never heard of it before but I dont think they are connected, maybe ur weight is contributing to both problems? see your doc.

Did your doctor rule out fungal infections? Never take advice from the net but thats what your discription sounds like. You mentioned foot problems and many of the same fungi that cause athlete's foot cause jock itch. Burning and itching are telltale sign of a fungal infection.

it could be jock itch or thrush. std nurse will not necessarily check for basic fungal infections. go see your gp.

That said, although I occasionally get herpes sores on my vagina, repeated blood tests and skin swabs only show type 1 in my system (coldsores). You might just be an anomaly like me. Check further.

You could have Prostatitis: inflammation of the prostate gland.
You could also be having a reaction to your laundry soap
sounds silly but it happens. As far as your feet, get better
shoes or try gel insoles.
Your weight is also an issue as far as foot or leg pain.
