A Negative STS/STD Test?

Hey Everyone -
I went to the doctor's last week for blood tests, sts testing (which I believe is their std testing or so they said) and a pap exam. (I have had no symptoms of anything, just anxiety and panic from media fear).
I called today to find out any results and the nurse told me all my tests came out negative. They are still waiting on my pap so there is a chance for it to be abnormal (it was in 2004 but was fine again in 2005). Yet I made her repeat to me that all tests, the sts/std test was negative.
I have been in a relationship now for two years with one man so I decided to test.

Do you think this is conclusive and I shouldn't fear now... except, yes, I know my pap could come back abnormal. But she made it sound or her words that "all tests came back negative" means I'm in the clear. And yes, they told me they call their std tests, sts tests and yes, I had blood tests too. Only thing I didn't get was HIV because I was tested for that two months ago due to a work acc.

You're FINE! Congrat's on getting all negatives. If you pap was abnormal in 2004 and has been normal since, then you are most likely fine. Even if it is abnormal, you are still most likely fine. There are so many things that can lead to an abnormal pap. If you had sex 24 hours before, small yeast infection, if you were ovulating and had a lot of discharge... the list goes on. You are going to be ok. Stressing so much is what causes major health problems so RELAX!

You are fine just relax and enjoy your relationship
